Capcom won’t be coming to E3 this year, because of Japanese Government restrictions thanks to the outbreak of swine flue in the country.
Capcom’s senior director of communications and community Chris Kramer told Kotaku this news and he also said that the company is taking the advisory very seriously. Although it’s not forbidden to travel, Keji Inafune and his henchman won’t be making it to E3, instead they want to be good citizens and stay home.
So why isn’t Dead Rising 2 being shown at this year’s E3 when it’s being developed in Canada? Capcom isn’t cofortable having anyone else demo the code, since Mr. Inafune is staying in Japan. How lame is that, developing the game, and not being allowed to show the game on E3. Lets hope we’ll here some new stuff about the game, get to see a new trailer or perhaps even receive one of those lovely early release Capcom demos.
“Dead Rising 2 is the only game we won’t be able to showcase at E3, because it’s at an early stage of development and the team is not comfortable having anyone else demo the code,”
