Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike. The player will have to fight zombies in "Fortune City", a gambling paradise inspired by Las Vegas.
According to screenshots, the protagonist is a nameless blonde male. We are not sure if Frank West, the previous game's protagonist will return and be playable but Isabella Keyes' name was mentioned in the viral video that was released.
The developers Blue Castle Games will be working with Keiji Inafune, the game's producer and Capcom's global head of research and development, along with other Dead Rising team members.
Dead Rising 2 will be multi-platform as it will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Pc. No release date has been announced yet by Capcom.
