I come from a very seasoned RPing background, I started on Warcraft, moved on to clan forums, and am now hoping to help you guys get more detailed in your role playing experience. Back on my old forums we didn't do RPs(We called them RPs because these aren't actual games, it's more like.. Advanced Story-Telling) the same way as you guys did. We had these things called "Character Sheets" to keep track of characters and stuff. This is the original template we used with some.. Modifications. Try not to mess around with the serious parts of the sheet (EX: Sex: Yes please.) I will attempt to get a RP that will require your character to have one of these so that you guys can get a feel for it. Feel free to use this for storing characters and such.

Name: Everyone has a name, what makes YOU so special?

Sex: *Prof. Oak voice.* Now, are you a boy or a girl?

Age: From sucking on your thumb to leaving your turn signal lights on.

Birth Date: February 30th 1988. If you don't get it, I feel sorry for you.

Right/Left Handed: *Cough.* Which hand would you prefer we insert your tracking chip into?

I don't think theres really any need for this for now because our RPG's are quite simpel.

Which is sorta why I'm doing this, I cringe whenever I see one sentence posts in RPs. Instead of your first post being who you are and what you have, it'll be a post in-character, we won't know who you are until you say your characters name. This'll allow for more advanced RPs which can be more fun, because you care if "Bob" dies because you know so much about him.

I dont think you quite got his point. we DONT want serious RPGs. Our RPGs are usually comedic and make little to no sense. If I wanted a real RPG with classes and crap, I would go play an MMORPG. I hate those though, and they make me feel like a complete nerd, so I onyl play these casual ones.
