obviously we're all looking forward to the game itself and its story campaign, but is anybody here anxious to play the online terror is reality portion of the game? so far, we've seen four different levels for TIR (I like headache and slicecycle the best so far), but there's going to be a lot more, they said. some people said it looks repetitive, but I think it's going to be really fun to play it. although I wonder if you get to choose which game level you want to play.

Well I think it would be fun with a few friends but isn't anything that I am gonna play non-stop.

While I'm mainly looking forward to online co-op as well, i'm not sure I'll have anyone to play with(never liked playing with random people in co-op games), so I'll probably get my multiplayer fix via TIR... But it all depends on the achievements for me... If theres alot of effort to be had for online achievements, ill be there...(ah the burdens and the joys of achievement whoring)

i might try it, most of my psn friends are either dead or never logged on again!

so i think that might be a good place to start looking for onnline companions!

i will do it probably for (if there are any) acheivements and to show my friends whos boss!

If they add in like 5 more games than that will probably make it more popular.

Probably something i'll try but its not sellling the game 4 me, CO-OP is! and the fact that i played the first one for 4 years straight.

Yea, that's why we have eachother. There is a topic on PSN Id's and Gamertags. There are some people here who I think would be interesting to play co-op with, though, I dunno if they will have for 360 or PS3. I have a PS3 though, so I may never be able to go on a Zombie Co-op rampage for days and days at a time with Pixelator, The_Canadian_Shoe, gangsterjc, *insert name of guy who's picture is Fry from Futurama*, and possibly connectmeplease and gameboy015. =(


Agreed. The only way to top this is to have 4 player Co-op in the next game and have us all look like Big Bos..err that came out wrong (jk about the Big Boss part... or am I? I think a 3rd person game just allows for more opportunities and can make a better sandbox game. Especially one with zombies as you can see the full effect of the weapons and not be limited by your view.

Exactly, I mean 1st person is ok, but it gives a different feel to the game. It works with Left 4 Dead and to an extent may work with Dead Rising by allowing you to actually use your weapons in 1st person view mode instead of throwing them (though throwing them is nice too), I doubt it would work with Dead Rising considering the type of zombie we have and the way they act. I mean just imagine how annoying it would be to get grabbed (to the extent of my knowledge, L4D zombies don't grab) by a zombie every couple of seconds cause you didn't know where they were coming from.

I know, but, it would be crowded with everyone's mic and, well, it wouldn't feel lonely or crowded with zombie anymore it'll feel packed by people with lots of zombies. Though, it is a good Idea.

i personally really think TIR is gonna be fun and i believe you might have to be in tir in 72 hour mode or they might have another mode specifically for it while not playing with other people

Well, TIR has been confirmed to take up part of the 72 hour mode.

I thought you were talking about multiplayer, of course you will be in TIR in single player, I do not think you will be able to do anymore events in it after the outbreak occurs though.

In single player I only think you are going to do one round of slicycles before the zombies are released.

You will win the round and before you get payed or move to the next round, the zombies are let out.

But I know one thing, MP is definitely taking place before SP. Based on what I know, TK is going to die as are the twins, and you can't have TIR without them.

I'd like TIR to be part of the 72-hour mode too, but nobody has mentioned it yet. then again, it is a BIG part of the story. also, I read in a recent article that there will be a total of 10 minigames for TIR. I guess that's a decent amount, since a lot of them have high replay value... btw, maybe this has been answered before, but does anybody know if we can play TIR just single player? all I hear is multiplayer....o_O

Shame, it's not really free demo, it's a free trial version of Case Zero, again, XBLA Exclusive, unless the wait until August 31 is for a PS3 version!

I thought it said it was a free demo, different from case zero, meaning ps3 owners will get a chance to play it. anyway, I like to think of TIR as the cherry on top. the game in itself is good enough to purchase, but TIR really makes it worth your money

I think that the demo Ps3 will get will just be a normal DR2 demo, while 360 will get a demo for both DR2 and CZ.

Hey, that sounds like my thing. I loved Fusion Frenzy (I still don't understand the hate it gets) and I enjoy zombie games. Pretty much, TiR sounds epic with that description.

Well, there's the set of leaked achievements, whic says there are 9 different events, but the truth of those being true is hard to determine, they may be an elaborate hoax, or they may be real
